When we met back in 2003 and persisted to challenge and push each other through our college Graphic Design and Art degrees, we had no idea that we’d go on to get married in 2008 and start creative business endeavors together. We certainly couldn’t have dreamed up our four very creative, beautiful children, either. What an incredible, wild blessing of a ride it has been!

We started Langhoff Creative in 2010, focusing primarily on Logo & Website Design, Print Design Services and Senior Portraits at first, quickly adding Wedding Photography, Corporate Event Photography, full Branding Services for all sizes of organizations, Documentary Family Photography, Videography, and even teaching a handful of Photography Classes along the way. On the side, our personal hobbies of drawing, painting, and hand-crafted arts have always fueled our professional work.

After a slew of life experiences had us living in 6 different cities across 3 states, we are thrilled to be putting roots down in Lancaster, South Carolina for the long haul.

Now offering Documentary Family Photography Sessions and Art and Photography Classes, we serve clients in a 40-mile radius from our home—covering Lancaster, Kershaw, Rock Hill, Fort Mill, Pageland, Chester, York, Monroe, and even south Charlotte and north Columbia.

  • We’ve had several heavy life experiences that have reminded us that none of us are promised tomorrow. We cling to Jesus and fully realize that if we’re still breathing, God still has a purpose for us here on this earth. For that reason, we love using the talents and passions the Lord has given us to encourage others and elevate the beauty we witness in His Creation around us. 

  • Rather than striving to curate perfection with our clients, we’re drawn to the truly genuine and natural parts of life. We believe there is beauty in those raw, everyday moments and those are the ones that families will treasure for a lifetime because they are attached to real memories, feelings and experiences.

    Many of our clients end up adding on a printed Photo Album of their Sessions because they provide a priceless archive of their family story that is different than they’ve been used to with traditional family photo sessions of posed portraits. Some of our clients are moved to tears when they see how truly beautiful their family life is through the perspective of someone else.

  • Rather than providing a step-by-step style of class where students are learning how to draw/paint/create specific pieces or skills (like in a paint & sip style class), we want to teach concepts and techniques that lead to open-ended, free expression through art. We teach people a new way to see the world around them, to see Jesus at the center of it all, and build their comfort with art skills and confidence to create at home.

    Many of our students have tried online classes or follow-along YouTube channels in the past, but they say the in-person, human factor of our Classes helped them (or their kids) truly unlock their creativity and confidence.

  • We serve clients in a 40-mile radius from our home—covering Lancaster, Kershaw, Rock Hill, Fort Mill, Pageland, Chester, York, Monroe, and even south Charlotte and north Columbia.

    For Birth Photography clients, due to the on-call nature, a 25-mile radius is preferable.
