I'm enrolled in my second photography class! Very excited about it... It's a four week course with Loomis Photographers (in Kenosha) that started on Thursday. Our first assignment was to practice shooting with available light (no flash), get our ISO correct and to set accurate white balance. We need to print 2-3 of our shots as 8x10s. This is one that I chose to print.

Chad and I visited with our friends, Andrew & Kathryn Coates, on Friday night at their house. I couldn't help but stalk their adorable 7-month-old twins with my camera (they are still SO tiny!). Chloe and her twin brother, Ian, were posing for me in their jammies. What cuties! I've never taken pictures of babies before, so it was a bit of a challenge for me, but Chloe sat nice and still on the couch next to a lamp. In the dim available light, it was tougher to capture Ian, who was bouncing all over the place. This shot features little Chloe's hand resting on her leg. I really like the "precious little one" mood that it captures.
