We had such a great time at The Club at Strawberry Creek on Sunday. There was a Bridal Showcase there of some of the local wedding vendors and about 150-200 brides came through. What a joy it was to chat with so many happy couples, their friends and parents. (It's conversations like those that confirm why we L-O-V-E what we do!) A HUGE thanks to this beautiful venue for the opportunity, for putting on such a great Showcase, and also for their amazing service to Brides and Grooms. We're big fans of working with Strawberry Creek (check them out on Facebook, too)!
Chad and I took several printed samples of our custom wedding invitations, save-the-dates, ceremony programs, table numbers, escort cards and more. It was really neat to hear how impressed people were with what they saw—after all, it is a direct reflection of our rockstar clients, because everything we design is custom! We don't use templates... Our brides and grooms dream up the theme and style of their wedding and they come to us with creative dreams, chicken scratch sketches, magazine tear-outs and Pinterest boards. We combine those ideas with our design expertise & print understanding to create their unique, custom pieces that tie in perfectly with their wedding theme.
We had a few samples of our wedding photography and album design with us at the Bridal Showcase as well. This part is the icing on the cake for us! Having the privilege of capturing such personal, memorable moments for couples is incredibly special. Being a married couple ourselves, we know that weddings are about far more than just the festivities of the day. Long after the flowers wilt and the music fades, photos are the one thing that remains. We love being able to freeze the moments of engagement and wedding stories for a lifetime of enjoyment.
We book only a limited amount of couples each year for wedding photography. More than simply providing a service, we want to make sure we're a good fit with couples. It's important for us to really get to know them as friends rather than just clients—it's then that the images convey the most life and emotion. We enjoy helping couples with planning advice, AND, we just love marriage—how cool to be able to walk alongside couples with encouragement for their journey into marriage!
