I love how this shot came out. It was such a pretty sunrise over Lake Michigan. I waited in the bitter cold for the right moment, but it was worth it. I like how the sun reflected onto the icy snow and the way the berries are silhouetted in the foreground. A very soft shot for a crisp morning....has almost a dreamy quality.
This is our February photo in the 2010 calendar that we made. There are 12 shots + a cover shot that we picked from all our photos taken over the course of 2009.
