our first birthday!

Langhoff Design, LLC • Est. October 4, 2010

It's been a full year, to the day, of the existence of Langhoff Design. Can you belive it?! We hardly can...

I can't even describe how excited Chad and I are about this huge accomplishment. So much so, that we threw a party to celebrate! This year has flown by so quickly, yet sometimes it feels like it's all we have ever done. It just fits us, I guess.

We definitely enjoy working with people directly, the flexibility and the variety of projects we have been able to work on, but we absolutely LOVE being able to tag-team with each other whenever possible. Chad is still working full-time during the day, but he is really supportive & helpful (and ridiculously creative). I could not do this without him!

God began planting the idea for this business in our hearts so long ago and to see it now as a reality is incredibly humbling. We've learned SO much in a year—about business-keeping, about design & photography, about equipment, about each other, our marriage, our skills, our faith, our dreams. Even looking back on the challenges and unavoidable "growing pains" we encountered, we still, undoubtedly, have zero regrets for making this leap of faith.

God has truly blessed us this year with provision and vision for Langhoff Design. We have had rewarding opportunities to be part of special milestones—both business and personal—for great clients.

We have yet to advertise anywhere formally, and for this we owe thanks to all of YOU. Our friends, family and acquaintances have been the best advertising anyone could ask for. You're all our cheerleaders and encouragers; our buzz agents. Thank you for contributing to the success of Langhoff Design thus far.

Disclaimer: We also realize that "success" in our eyes, although exciting, means nothing. We ultimately seek to glorify God in all we do—success in His eyes is far more important. If worldly success happens to materialize along the way, we consider it a bonus. Langhoff Design is not a job to either of us. We feel it is our calling. Not our plans, but His (Proverbs 16:9). We know His plans are always best anyway (Jeremiah 29:11). For that, we're even more stoked about our future than we are about our past year. We can't wait to be in the midst of His perfect plans as they continue to unfold!

"For everything comes from God alone. Everything lives by his power, and everything is for his glory."  —Romans 11:36
