michael & allisha: "i do's" at the arboretum

I swear Michael & Allisha jumped right out of a magazine page....they were stunning and everything about their wedding day was beautiful. We had quite the scorcher of a day at the Klehm Arboretum in Rockford, IL! Flowers were in bloom, smiles were abundant, and in the later afternoon, everyone kicked it into dancing gear. It was an honor for Chad and I to join their loving family and friends in celebration. We're so happy for this newlywed couple!

Guests arriving enjoyed the scenic surroundings at the Klehm—and sought out shade wherever possible. What a beautiful place! I loved seeing Michael's anticipation while awaiting his Bride. So sweet! (You can click on any image to view it larger in case you want a better look.)

Love the emotions of this moment! As if saying, "We did it!" ....ahhh, I can't help but smile. It was so clear to me that they're going to love this new chapter of life!

Making the marriage official on paper.

Michael & Allisha were represented by the sweetest wedding party. They were all so happy! Flowers were arranged by Event Floral.

Remember how I said it was like Michael & Allisha jumped out of a magazine page? Check these two out! Allisha's red hair is to die for....I'm sure Michael is well-aware of that. ;) And he looks like a GQ model!

They got to just soak in the moment...

After a bit of rendezvous in the gardens, we all moved into the reception, which was held right there at the Klehm as well. The lights and decorations were so pretty!

The very touching speech of Allisha's father set the mood. There was no shortage of love in this family!

I still can't get over how cute these two are together—they were always laughing and being playful with each other. Their delicious cake was made by Marcia at Center Piece Cakes.

Michael and his mother & Allisha and her father shared memorable dances together as well.

It didn't matter what was going on around them, Michael & Allisha knew this celebration was all about them—they didn't hold back one bit, and a goofy schoolgirl grin came to my face every time I caught them sharing a little moment.

I had mentioned there was no shortage of love....there was certainly no shortage of dancing, either! Such special memories.

Congratulations again, Michael and Allisha! It was obvious that you are IN love with each other, loved by many, and we loved it. Enjoy your future together!
