Sweet reminders in the midst

It's our busiest season of the year with weddings every weekend and senior portrait sessions in between, yet in the midst of that, we're packing up our belongings for our move to North Carolina next month + working through details to launch a second business. Some might call us crazy...

Lately our days are long—filled with fast-paced work, our evenings are late—spent in the homes of local friends we love, piles of boxes in our apartment are beginning to stack up where furniture once was, and yet, little reminders of God's peace & provision come in the sweetest forms. When we arrived home at about 11pm last night, this view over Lake Michigan soothed our souls. 
 

When I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers,
    the moon and the stars, which you have set in place,
what is man that you are mindful of him,
    and the son of man that you care for him?
