The challenge for our November photo club meeting was food. Although I heard a lot of grumbles in the group about this one, I was secretly excited. I've been doing so much outdoor photography lately, I was ready for a good indoor challenge with controlled light.
As I was preparing dinner Saturday night, I couldn't help but notice the intricacies of the inside of the green pepper I was slicing. I was so intrigued by the bright, fresh color, the tightness of the seeds, the emptiness of the middle and the texture in the outsides. That was that: my next photo subject, hands down.

I was getting anxious and frustrated that there was no snow outside to take beautiful wintery pictures of for this week's post (still can't believe I missed it all during our holiday travels to 3 different midwest states). This week I waited & waited for snowfall, but was so excited to create my second blog post that I decided to think outside the box instead. Glad I did!
