This standalone Course (four 1-hour classes) is part of our 7-part Series to teach each of the 7 Elements of Art (Lines, Shapes, Color, Value, Texture, Form and Space). The focus of this Course is Lines, and future Courses will cover the other six elements.
Each class, students will receive age-appropriate, hands-on art lessons to learn about the element, observe famous artists using this concept, and will create a unique work of art in response (ranging in media—drawing, painting, oil pastels, mixed media, etc.). This is not a “follow these steps for this specific art project” type of class, but rather a “learn the concepts and techniques so you can make your own art with confidence” kind of class.
