7-Week Course: Elements of Art (5th-7th grade)

Tuesdays Sept 8 - Oct 20 • 1:00pm - 2:30pm

(Suggested for 5th - 7th grade, limit 12 students) 

Students will receive hands-on art lessons on the 7 Elements of Art and Design. Each class they will learn the art concept, observe famous artists using this technique, and will create a unique work of art (ranging in media—drawing, painting, oil pastels, mixed media, etc.) in response. This is not a “follow these steps for this specific art piece” type of class, but rather a “learn the building blocks and concepts so you can make art of your own with confidence” kind of class. *Includes $50 non-refundable deposit to reserve spot and supplies.
