It all started when Chad tackled Amber on the football field. 

Yep—that's actually how we met as college freshmen and we haven't looked back (only to laugh occasionally). We dated shortly after that and now, 12 years later, we're ever-so-happily married and striving to live out the dreams and visions God plants in our hearts. 
 

Collaboration is the way we like it.

We work from home together, full-time. We shoot together. We grocery shop together. We finish each other's sentences, share household chores, and even enjoy similar hobbies.

We're passionate about people and their stories.

We believe life is beautiful—flaws and all—and should be captured and preserved in its most genuine form. We take joy in making artful photographs of unique details and candid moments that tell true, visual stories of the people we meet.
 

Durham, NC is home and we're available for travel worldwide.

We love a good adventure. Although we're midwesterners at heart, we've fallen in love with NC since relocating here in September 2014.

I'm an introvert with three tattoos.

I grew up in a small farm town in central Illinois. If I still lived there, I'd be the 4th generation crop farmer in my family.

I'm a huge St. Louis Cardinals fan! I've always been around baseball and the Cardinals have fueled my fascination with the sport. 

In 2014, I founded an online art store called Hope Delivered for my original Bible art. For every piece purchased, a Bible is donated to a persecuted Christian in need.

Prayer is a vital part of my daily life, period.

After spending a week in Haiti during the summer of 2011, I dream of going back someday. The adults and children there stole my heart.

I love being married and hate the "marriage = game over" mentality of our modern culture.

My favorite superhero is Spider-man.

I'm an extrovert with one tattoo.

I was born and raised in Jackson, Michigan. Yes, I point at my hand to show you where on "the mitten" that is.

I am obsessed with milk chocolate Mint M&Ms that only come out during the Holiday season. I stock up and freeze them to enjoy months later.

I hate reading, but I love what's inside of books. Audible.com has become my best friend. I've listened to more books in the last twelve months than I've read in my entire life!

My best days are started by reading my Bible and praying. It sets my priorities straight, first thing.

March is my favorite month, not because it's my birth month and there are Shamrock shakes, but because of college basketball. Go Spartans!

I LOVE Jeep Wranglers. The Silver Lake Sand Dunes in Michigan are my favorite place!
