While we were in Oregon, we got the chance to spend a day at Cannon Beach on the Pacific Ocean. It was a little chilly (in the 60s), but that sure didn't keep us from building sand castle creations. We also took a long beach walk down to see the monolith, Haystack Rock. It is a monstrous 235-feet tall! I guess it's the third tallest structure like itself in the world...pretty crazy - glad I got to see it!

I experimented with throwing the focus around these shots using depth of field. I'm pretty happy with how they turned out. Hope you enjoy them as well.
