These shots are a few of my favorites from a very cold morning in Blackstone, IL on December 29, 2010.
When we were traveling for the Christmas Holiday, we stopped down at Chad's family's farm for a few days. They had over a foot of snow and ice crystals had formed on everything.
I wanted to capture the sparkling beauty of the scenery bathing in the warm glow of the sunrise.
Their Black Lab, Harley, served as my photo assistant for a couple hours. We both got quite a workout!
