cheers to the years

Today is our fourth wedding anniversary! We definitely have lots to celebrate. We still feel like newlyweds, and that's our wish for every year to come. Cheers to many, many more! Last night we found ourselves reminiscing some of our favorite memories together. Hope you enjoy these photos...

The photo below from 2003 was the first time Chad came to Michigan to visit my family. We were 19! We had a wonderful weekend... That day, we had been at the zoo together and it ended up raining, but it remains to be the most meaningful time we've ever had together. Chad became a follower of Jesus that day! The photo from 2005 was taken at North Beach in Racine, WI—at that point, we knew we'd be inseperable best friends forever. We took the shot from 2007 soon after we got engaged.

We officially tied the knot on February 2, 2008 in Kenosha, WI with our closest friends and family as witnesses. When I see these photos, I can remember the rush of excitement and joy I felt that day!

There was a TON of snow that had fallen on the days leading up to our wedding day. Although traveling for our guests was tough, it sure made for some gorgeous portraits. In true "Chad & Amber fashion" we had fun with it!
