Bryan + Maddy | Bright & dreamy wedding in Wisconsin

I just love how the perfect light can make for the most romantic of settings. This bright, sun-soaked wedding at The Club at Strawberry Creek (Kenosha, WI) was a perfect example. Bryan and Maddy's outdoor wedding ceremony and portraits on the golf course were as dreamy as they come. Their colors of yellow and celadon blue added to the sunny disposition of their celebration, too.

Bryan proposed to Maddy last year on a fishing trip, using her engagement ring as a fishing lure. The story is super sweet—you can read about it right here. I loved how they tied that theme into their wedding as well, with the ring bearer walking down the aisle with a fishing pole and also with one of the most unique "unity ceremonies" I have ever witnessed at a wedding. Bryan and Maddy each poured a separate gold fish into a single bowl of water together, as a sign that they would now be joining their lives together. How fun!

These two were joined in attendance by many, many friends and family members who were eager to witness & celebrate their nuptials. The dance floor at their reception was certainly a reflection of that, too—guests of all ages were not shy about getting their groove on for the sake of the newlywed couple. It was a true honor for Chad and I to be there to capture these moments as they unfolded.
