The Milwaukee Adventure

On a whim, we decided to head up to Milwaukee on Saturday with some of our good friends Adam and Melissa. It all started with a text from Adam wondering if we were interested in going to the Milwaukee Public Market. We looked at each other and we thought, "What the heck! Let's do this!"

The decision to go that morning was one of the best we did in a long time. It was so much fun checking out all the little restaurants, chocolate stands, wine tasting and all the cool little stores that the Milwaukee Public Market had to offer. All four of us were having fun quoting lines from Disney's Aladdin (ie. "Freeeeesh fiiish! We catch 'em, you buy 'em!"), pointing at all the unique ways to prepare pork chops, tasting different types of chocolates and making memories together as friends.

The adventure didn't stop there. Melissa had to stop at her favorite coffee place in the world called Roast Coffee. Not only did the inside of The Roast look awesome (artsy, rustic), the menu was even better. Neither of us like coffee, but their unique list of Chai Teas was awesome—Amber had a Raz Royal and I enjoyed a Chilly Chai. If we lived near this place, we would be regulars for sure.

The Milwaukee adventure finally came to an end when we had dinner and ice cream at Kopps. This is a Milwaukee staple. The diner-style food is great and the ice cream makes everyone scream. Especially when one of the flavors of the day was Grasshopper Fudge (whaaaat?!). We both got the Grasshopper Fudge—sorry for not having photos on this one because we were both too busy eating it to think about capturing it :0). It was the best treat to top the best day with some of our best friends.
