This Tremper senior is one of the prettiest I've ever photographed.... I'm not even exaggerating! Suzanne is beautiful and after hanging out with her, we quickly found out that her personality matches.

Read MoreIf you live in the Kenosha/Racine area, chances are, you've heard of Thomas Stark. I have to say, I'm honored to have gotten to know him so well over the last few years. He's a senior at Horlick HS (Racine) but his influence reaches far beyond the walls of his school. Many know him either from Kayne's Coffee & Custard or Wells Brothers Pizza. I met him through youth group and we were instant photography buddies :)

Read MoreThis is Sam. Bradford High School (Kenosha, WI) is where she spends her days....but not for long. Sam is graduating in a couple short months! I'm honored to have gotten to know her for a short time during our shoot. From what I learned about her, she's super chill, extremely pretty, and in love with the fine arts. Read MoreI'd like to introduce you to Katlin. She is a senior at Walden High School (Racine, WI) and is one of the sweetest people I've met. Underneath the surface though, she's a music junkie and thrill-seeker bubbling with sass. Love her spirit! We had a blast with her during her senior portrait session, too. Family is a big deal to Katlin, so it was neat to shoot at her family's farm (which has been in the family for years) as well as the beach by the Racine Zoo where she has memories with her Grandma. Yesterday afternoon, I had the privilege of shooting senior portraits for Emily Berry (Bradford High School). We had an absolute blast together!
I was a little nervous about shooting at 2:00 in the afternoon (what on earth was I thinking...) with the battle of harsh sun & shadows, but the day turned out to be gorgeous. We didn't have much cloud cover to work with, but I stepped up to the challenge & took on the sun. Aaarrrrgggh! [ That's not supposed to come across as "pirate" really, just more in the "Ima gettit done" tone. ]
Although I haven't gone through all of her photos yet, I just couldn't help but edit one of my favorites to post on Facebook for her yesterday—she is absolutely beautiful! We shot down at Wolfenbuttel Park in Kenosha, taking advantage of bright flowers, beach, rocks, Lake Michigan, and even a surprise "lagoon" area. Who knew?
