Well, I finally finished editing through my second round of senior portraits. We got through the batches of proofs and finals and have a handful of portraits that I'm extremely happy with (and so is Nick, our studly feature)!
Read MoreLast week, I got the opportunity to do a photo shoot for a little 2-yr-old and a 3-month-old. Audrina and Landon were such cuties! I definitely enjoyed the fun, football concept in these images.
This was the first "little kids shoot" I've ever done. I was pretty happy with some of the individual shots I was able to capture of each of the kids. BUT, this shoot was quite a challenge!! I learned A LOT.
The fall colors have been absolutely beautiful this season! What perfect weather we've been having to enjoy them, too! Last week I wandered around for a while with my camera at Petrifying Springs Park in Kenosha. That's one of my favorite places to walk. There are trees everywhere, trails, a dog park area, volleyball, grills, hills, river, you name it. It reeks peacefulness and screams for picnics, bike rides and hikes.
After several months of planning, preparation, and fund raising, we were ready to hit the road for our 2010 mission trip. We were Washington, D.C. bound with 8 window-painted minivans, 40 high school students, 8 adults, charged walkie-talkies, and our rubber band bracelets (reminding us to remain "flexible"). On the way there stories were swapped, music was shared (blared?), games were played, bracelets were woven, candy was eaten, gas was pumped, inside jokes were created and lasting friendships were definitely made.
