We are happy to declare, Zach and Stephanie got married! We have known these two for almost five years and we're so excited for them. Their beautiful fall wedding day was filled with smiles, happy tears and sweet memories. Thir childhood pastors married them at Evangelical United Methodist Church in Racine surrounded by their closest friends and family. Afterward, we headed to Milwaukee for a banquet reception (at the Clarion Hotel) and stopped for some photos of the wedding party in Grant Park. It was a bit chilly, but the rain held off long enough for us to capture some stunning, scenic shots... I was drooling over the way the rain made the bright colors shine for such a dreamy, fairytale backdrop—GORGEOUS.
Chad and I truly enjoyed the entire day with Zach, Stephanie and all of their guests. It was an honor to capture their ceremony and celebration. We can't wait to hear how the rest of their love story unfolds. I hope you enjoy these highlights from their big day...
I'd like you to meet Maggie Damaschke. She is a senior at Horlick High School (Racine, WI) and is definitely set for success after graduation. This girl, aside from being absolutely gorgeous, is crazy talented! She plays the clarinet and piano and is in five different bands, is a budding novelist, a skilled artist, is involved in various activities and sports at her school, as well as several activities outside of school. Her faith in God is a guiding factor in her daily life (which is so encouraging to me). I have LOVED getting to know Maggie over the last few years and I invite you to get to know her, too...

...And we're not talking about the face-painted-football-fan, corsage-wearing-date kind of homecoming, either. I've been hammering out work for Langhoff Design for just over two years, and now CHAD IS COMING HOME TO JOIN ME!
Today is his first "full day" of working for Langhoff Design, full-time. We are seriously ALL smiles and walking on clouds. Owning our own business together has been a longtime dream for both of us, and God has positioned us perfectly to make that dream a reality—the pieces have fallen into place.
In August, Chris and Amber tied the knot and entered wedded bliss. It was such a sentimental day filled with emotion, encouragement and sweet memories. Evangelical United Methodist Church in Racine was packed with all of their closest friends and family for a very sacred, beautiful ceremony. Memorial Hall in downtown Racine was the perfect location for their very celebratory, spirited reception. Chad and I LOVED spending the entire day with Chris and Amber. Even though we already knew them, we felt like we had a room full of friends by the end of the night with their amazing guests. I don't think I've ever seen THAT much dancing at a reception...such a blast. We're so excited for this newlywed couple and the life ahead of them!

It was a very special July day when Bryant & Norah were joined in marriage. It was a full family celebration, complete with sentiment, friends, a live country band and even origami. The Kemper Center Chapel in Kenosha was the perfect location for their ceremony to take place and their reception continued at Strawberry Creek. Sami and Drew met during their freshman year of college at Carthage, but didn't really cross paths until their “physical fitness” class together their senior year. Everyone in the class got 2 free skips. Drew and Sami, along with a mutual friend, decided to use one of their “skip” days to go out for sushi. The rest is history. Four years later, they are engaged to be married! They say, "Since our first impression, our love for each other has only grown. We still embrace the traits that attracted us to each other, but now we have so much more to love about one another."

I swear Michael & Allisha jumped right out of a magazine page....they were stunning and everything about their wedding day was beautiful. We had quite the scorcher of a day at the Klehm Arboretum in Rockford, IL! Flowers were in bloom, smiles were abundant, and in the later afternoon, everyone kicked it into dancing gear. Chad and Kelly were happily married on June 16th. We were absolutely honored to shoot their wedding in Kenosha and hang out with them all day in celebration with their fantastic family and friends. Initially, the rain gave everyone a bit of a scare, but it turned out to be a bright, beautiful afternoon next to Lake Michigan. Boy, was it HOT! The occasion was filled with laughter, custom Converse kicks, and plenty of love. I hope you enjoy the highlights!
